硅碳棒是用高純度綠色六方碳化硅為主要原料，按一定料比加工制坯，經2200℃高溫硅化再結晶燒結而制成的棒狀、管狀非金屬高溫電熱元件。氧化性氣氛中正常使用溫度可達1450℃，連續使用可達2000小時。
