8.堆積重 

堆積重是測量特定量炭的質量的方法。通過逐漸把活性炭添加一個有刻度圓桶內至 ，并測量其質量。該值被用于計算填充特定吸附裝置所需活性炭數量。簡單地說，堆積重是活性炭每單位體積的重量。

9.顆粒密度

顆粒密度是每單位體積顆粒炭的重量，不包括顆粒以及大于0.1mm裂隙間的空間。

10.亞甲藍  

亞甲藍值是指1.0克炭與1.0 mg/升濃度的亞甲藍溶液達到平衡狀態時吸收的亞甲藍的毫克數。

11.磨損值

磨損值是測量活性炭的耐磨阻力的指標。顆粒活性炭的磨損值說明顆粒在處理過程中降低顆粒的阻力。是通過測定終的顆粒平均直徑與原始顆粒的平均直徑的比率來計算的。
