1. 碘值

碘值是指活性炭在0.02N 12/KL水溶液中吸附的碘的量。碘值與直徑大于10A 的孔隙表面積相關聯。

活性炭價格高低，碘值是判斷的標準之一。當然，也不是碘值越高，活性炭越好。

2.丁烷值

丁烷值是飽和空氣與丁烷在特定溫度和特定的壓力下通過炭床后，每單位重量的活性炭吸附的丁烷數量。

3.灰分

活性炭的灰粉有兩種，一種是表面灰粉，另外一種是內在灰粉，平時說的活性炭的灰粉是指內在灰粉。
